Τούτος ο ανθός

«Μες στο σκοτάδι ή στο φως
μες στη βροχή ή στον ήλιο

στη λάσπη των βορείων φυλακίων

στους καταπράσινους κήπους της άνοιξης

στη ζέστα του νοτιά

στο κρύο των βορείων λασπωμένων εκτάσεων

τούτος ο ανθός το ίδιο θα μυρίζει.»

“In  the dark or in the light

under the rain or the sum

in the mud of the northern outposts

in the ever-green gardens of spring

in the warmth of the south
in cold northern areas of mud
this flower will smell the same.”
